Set in the 1880s, a wild stallion befriends young Ricky North who lives on his Uncle's Southwest ranch. Ricky is a magnetic for trouble, but is always rescued by the Wonder Horse and his dog, Rebel.
THE DIE-HARDS: Rebel is hurt by a porcupine and Ricky gets help for him from a southern doctor who just arrived in town. However, persistent prejudices for Southerners after the civil war engender hatred and turmoil for the doctor and his wife until the prejudiced perpetrator's gunshot wound is treated by the doctor.
