Amjad Khan, a Nawab but a rival of Salim Beg and cousin of Amra and his sister, thinks that it is his birthright to marry the young Nikhat He would be the heir to Nikhats parents...a chronic bookworm who is fast losing his mental balance. Shahnaz, a companion to Nikhat sympathises with him. .
